Double-PACT report this month as Tuesday was the Whitchurch and Tongwynlais meeting and Wednesday afternoon was the Llandaff North meeting which I decided to attend after a few people have asked me to include news items for our neighbours down the hill. Read more
Charity begins at home…
Fundraising these days doesn’t take a lot of imagination but with charities all over the TV and quite a few charities based in Cardiff North it can be an uphill struggle to get people to donate a couple of quid to your chosen charitable cause. Last weekend however that didn’t put anyone off attending a charity open garden on Pendwyallt Road to raise money for the Childrens cancer charit L.A.T.C.H. Read more
Pact Meeting – June
The Sixth Form block of Whitchurch Upper School was the venue for this months PACT Meeting with just a handful of residents showing up but still plenty to be said. Read more
Cuppa with a Copper!
There are quite a few shops within the village that are vacant or closed. One that frequently falls under the latter is our very own police station, or shop as I like to call it.
It is supposed to be open every weekday 9am until 4pm but that’s providing there is a member of staff available to man the desk at the shop. Which more often than not, there isn’t. Read more
