Local businessman spices things up
Local business man, Dilwar Ali has set a fantastic example with his massive support for George Thomas Hospice Care which is the major provider of specialist community palliative care for Cardiff and presently receiving twelve new referrals a week for its service.
Dilwar Ali whose runs the family business “Nahin Spice Centre” on Caerphilly Road is offering the local hospice with 5,000 Meal Deal voucher (starter, main dish, rice and naan) £9.95 and for every voucher that is redeemed by the public, the hospice will receive £3.95. Read more
Relay for Life
The world’s largest fundraising event is coming to Cardiff for the first time this summer – and our volunteers have chosen a venue in Whitchurch to stage it.
Cancer Research UK’s Relay For Life brings communities together to help beat cancer. Unlike the hugely popular Race for Life, Relay For Life is run entirely by volunteers living in the local community. Read more
