Beware of Bens Gutters
August 6, 2010 // 9 CommentsA few people have reported having the hand written note through the door recently from Bens Gutters. I’ve had one this morning and I know they’ve been in Rhiwbina recently also.
According to many many reports these guys are a bunch of cowboys and you should consider looking elsewhere for your garden jobs, perhaps even someone based local 
According to reports on some review websites, they do not complete jobs and then take your money and often find unnecessary extra work with extra expense.
The leaflet looks exactly like the image shown below and you can read genuine reviews about this company on this website.

hi used this company and they were fine
p.s. i've just called and someone is coming out to repair the damage for no charge, so maybe i was a bit hasty….

Thank you for posting this warning I have had two of these recently, and being a lone dweller am vulnerable to cowboy workmen. i will not be using them!!!!!
I think this website is very false and unfair, I have not only used this company but also know the manager, they are hard working, ethical and if you are unhappy with their service they will work hard to make it right.
i personally didnt have any problems with these guys and i dont see that they are cowboys! that is just my personal experience. they cleaned the gutters and charged a reasonable price (I also called 2 other companies and the prices were all similar). they turned up when they said they would and just did the job. thats all really.
Came across this when I went to write a review somewhere else. I have to say I found Bens Gutters to be a decent company and the guys dont seem like cowboys they cleared my gutters and I saw all the debris etc that came out! And I can see that they are clean and they dont leak or anything. Since having them done I havent had any problems. i cant really criticise this company. Tom Anderson.
The last three comments were most likely written by employees of the company. For example, Stuart Guy, one of the directors.
The fact still stands that they have been using deceptive advertising, dishonesty, to tout for business.
