Fire on Heol Don

Two houses on Heol Don have been badly damaged by a fire on Sunday evening thought to have started by an early kitchen fire.

Nobody has been injured.

Around teatime on sunday a kitchen pan caught fire and was thought to have been extinguished but apparently later on parts of the roof caught fire and started to burn out of control which spread to the adjoining house, on the corner of Heol Don and Kingsland road.

Police, fire crews and the red cross are on the scene. Traffic is being diverted.
